Thanks to our community

We started the Coaching Buttons website a year and a half ago as a way to support a community of IT leaders. Since launching the website in July 2023, we have published over 100 articles. These cover a variety of IT leadership topics, including:

Leadership reflections like What the pandemic taught us about virtualizing our organization and The four qualities of IT leaders

Coaching reflections such as My coaching journey from Zero to Linux Hero and How to nurture open leaders by letting go

Hands-on skills such as How to lead an affinity exercise

Leadership concepts like The benefits of fractional leadership

Strategic planning such as Present and future needs with SWOT

Open leadership topics like 4 factors in open decision-making and Applying an Open Decision Framework

We published one article per week in the early months, but over time we’ve expanded our publication schedule to two articles per week, on Mondays and Wednesdays. Today, our author community includes 11 authors, and it’s always growing. 

Our gift to you

We wanted to say thank you to our community of readers and authors. Coaching Buttons is what you make it, and we are here to support all leaders from within and across the organization.

To put the spotlight on our community, we are planning to collect several popular articles from the website and publish them as free ebooks. Like everything we share at Coaching Buttons, these ebooks will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution ShareAlike license. We will also publish a print edition via our print partners at Lulu.com.

We’re excited to share these free ebooks in December. Look for details on the website in the next few weeks!
